A mysterious illness infects Sonic and Shadow's friends one by one, making them lose sight of everything except furthering its spread. In order to survive, the two hedgehogs will need to stick together long enough to stop it... but neither of them imagined just how close they would become. (Sonadow. May be M rated later.)

Mobians have only just gotten their rights as citizens a mere decade ago. Many of them still live as pets even still. However, there is a group that rescues those who wish to be rescued, or are in bad situations, and tries to foster and rehabilitate. This is a story that follows one such case. Slow to start. Sonadow, but may involve other pairings later too.

Sonic and Shadow have been together for some time now, and even though Sonic puts on a happy face, Knuckles is determined to prove that their relationship is not going as well as Sonic would have everyone believe. Sonadow/Sonuckles.

Fortunately - and unfortunately - it turns out all of these problems are intertwined, with Eggman at the root and Sonic caught in the vines. But the blue blur has no intentions of playing along.
