This story starts at the end of Harry's third year, and continues thru his seventh. There is action in many of the chapters, but I believe the overwhelming focus should be the main characters. I'm trying to write about a realistic and honest relationship between Harry and Hermione, that in turn, will change everything, from the Triwizard Tournament to the downfall of Voldemort.

War changes everyone: Harry resolves to face destiny and struggles to reconcile with Dumbledore's past, fully aware of the price he must pay for victory. Hermione walks through fire, determined to share in Harry's burden. Ron battles resurgent jealousy and soon discovers he may lose far more than he stood to gain. One thing is certain; peace is never cheaply purchased. H/Hr

A certain Miss Granger takes steps to ensure she can contact her best friend during the summer holidays. After the disaster of the Triwizard tournament, she believes Harry shouldn't be left alone - no matter what Dumbledore says.

Post DH. After Voldemort's defeat, the survivors face a recovery like no other... Harry and Hermione embark on their final year at Hogwarts, intent on discovering how it is they are supposed to fit into the Voldemort-free world. Together, they fight their various inner demons, and learn that there are indeed many things left for which to live.

AU. A marriage law is instigated during Hermione's sixth year. Hermione considers her options and makes her choice, it just wasn't the one they were expecting. By saving herself Hermione's decisions cause ripples to run through the Order. The game has changed, those left behind need to adapt to survive. Canon up to the HBP, Dumbledore lives, Horcrux are still in play

The exam is Monday. The least he can do is help her study.

Post-Hogwarts. One year after the Victory over Voldemort, Hermione Granger is finally graduating and Harry Potter is worryingly restless. What follows is a summer of mutual attraction, new discoveries and a misplaced 'friends with benefits' deal that will alter the most important relationship that they have.

In the aftermath of the final battle, Ron confronts Harry about a lie he told in the Forest of Dean.

Sirius decides to stay in England after escaping Hogwarts and makes protecting Harry his priority. AU GOF.

Set the summer after OOTP. Hermione gets struck by Dolohov's Curse in the Department of Mysteries and that sparks a change in the relationship between Harry and Hermione. They help each other deal with the grief, finding solace in each other and, eventually, love. Rated M for mentions of child abuse, some swearing and mild adult situations.

When a young green-eyed wizard and a minimally older brown-eyed witch, the best of friends for years, discover their mutual fondness for one particular armchair in front of one particular fireplace, it can inevitably mean one thing and one thing only: War. And then also – eventually, potentially – something else. Maybe. But first it's definitely war.

Hermione Granger deals with the marriage law the Wizengamot passed after Voldemort's defeat - in the style of the French Revolution. Old scores are settled but new enemies gather their forces, determined to crush the new British Ministry.

When Hermione called him asking for a favor, his stupid reply had been, "Sure 'Mione anything," and apparently anything meant pretending to be her husband for a week...

For all of her faults and strengths, Hermione was the only person he could ever unconditionally trust. It had taken all of four words for him to realize that nothing could ever be the same again between them.

An alternate version of HBP and DH with more focus on Hermione's character than in the books. Picks up with Hermione's conjured canaries and Harry comforting her without being interrupted by Ron and takes off from there. Eventual H/Hr.

Remus was so shocked at seeing Sirius fall through the veil that Harry had raced past him before the boy's intentions even registered with the werewolf. Screaming "Sirius!" Harry followed his godfather into the veil before anyone could stop him. H/Hr

AU. Harry, just another normal Hogwarts student with no evil whatsoever plaguing his life, really likes Hermione Granger, who won't even give him the time of day. How is he going to win her heart? By being a complete tosser, of course. Boys are idiots.

Harry went into the forbidden forest to let Voldemort kill him, but was taken prisoner, instead. He is believed to be dead, and Ginny, Ron, and Hermione struggle to find a way forward. Canon is followed up to Chapter 34 of Deathly Hallows. Please R&R.
