In less than five minutes, Tenzo had turned his entire world upside down, stealing the breath from his lungs, and the logic from his mind. Kakashi wanted Tenzo, as much as he'd ever wanted anything. He wanted to wrap around the other man and lose himself in the consuming ache, forgetting the rest of the world in favor of living in this moment.

After the war, Yamato has his team. He has Sai, Sakura and Naruto. And, of course, he has Kakashi, in a way, if he could just stop avoiding him and his feelings. He'll figure it out eventually, Yamato thinks, though he pretty much knows how it will end. In the mean time, he's got a forest to rebuild, an entirely new skill set to learn, and a life to recover. Kakashi and Yamato are working hard training Naruto. Yamato would disagree with how 'hard' Kakashi is working, but that's normal. Their history together fuels the interactions between them, but its possible that isn't what they really want. (Eventual KakaYama (Kakashi Tenzou). Yaoi)
