Howdy!

I am in my 20s and live in Houston, where I work as a scientist.

I did not read much while in college and have been diving back into the habit thanks to the ridiculous amount of time I spend on planes and in hotels during business trips. Infernal Devices started this up (random book-grab in an airport in early November). I am now reading Mortal Instruments, but do not enjoy it as much. I have a few ideas of what I will read next, but am always up for suggestions.

I enjoy fiction as a means to escape reality. I find that most of the books in the "grown-up" section are mystery, non-fiction, or horror, all of which I hate. This has caused me to turn to the "Young Adult" section. I was one of those kids that grew up with Harry Potter and made my whole family read the series.

I have not written since high school and am hoping that I may be inspired to get back into it.
Poor grammar drives me crazy. I think it is sad how much spelling and the freedom of imagination have been stripped from my generation and it only seems to get worse as the years go on.
