You probably know me already. You've probably worn me already, too. I am Blue Pants. What type of pants, you ask? Any type. Jeans, cargo, shorts, whatever you can think of. If it's blue, and it goes on your legs, it's me.

Chances are, you've seen me countless times, but have never really gotten to know me. Well, that's okay. I'm willing to know you. I'm a very friendly article of clothing, once you get past the whole "pants" thing. All you have to do is talk to me.Yes,you heard me correctly. All you have to do is talk to me. It can be when you're getting dressed or undressed... it can even be right now. Just grab me out of your dresser or closet, I probably won't be in the middle of anything.

Of course, I probably won't respond. Be assured, I am not being rude. I take in everything you say. The reason I don't respond is because... well... I'm a pair of pants. But that shouldn't stop you from having a meaningful conversation with me! Oh, no. Not one bit. Just start talking, and I'll start listening. We can go on for hours. Days, even. I don't mind.

Of course, I suggest you do this in private.Do not brag about our lengthy conversations or let yourself get caught in the process of one with me. You see, in this cruel world of ours, there are men who wear coats. Coats of white, no less. These men in the white coats do not care what meaningful conversations you and I may have. All they care about is the fact that you are talking to pants. They cannot see past my exterior into my very live soul, and dare to call me an inanimate object. They also cannot see past your exterior into your loving heart,and dare to call you crazy. They will take you away from me. You will likely never see me again.

Of course, this should not discourage you from pursuing enlightening conversations with me. Don't be afraid. Go on. Talk to a pair of pants today.
