Humphrey is taken without Kate but not to Idaho but to Africa and is given to a sangoma Traditional african shaman as a freind. Humphrey is trained by some of the savannahs animals at his new owners request. How will Humphrey adapt to his new life, will he ever get home and how will Kate feel.

Humphrey leaves after Kates wedding with hatred in his heart but at his new home he finds two orphaned pups and takes them in as their father with Kate,Garth and Lilly right on his tale.

Humphrey is relocated to Idaho alone with Kate's hurtful words in his head so he stays in Idaho but what happens when the pack runs out of food and has to relocate to Idaho and they find Humphrey there.
