The other goes out to fulfill this request, but the journey is not nearly as smooth as expected. She returns home and the other is either: a) asleep; b) wants something else; or c) isn't hungry anymore.

Blake didn't expect much when she enrolled at Beacon Academy. She didn't expect to make friends. She didn't expect to develop a secret crush on her new partner, Yang. And she certainly didn't expect Yang to run off on the anniversary of Summer Rose's death to drown herself in alcohol. Now Blake has to find Yang, and the night might still hold one or two things she doesn't expect.

Blake's new neighbor is beautiful, gregarious, and definitely NOT interested in someone as boring as herself - no matter how much her imagination loves to think otherwise. Yang's new neighbor is gorgeous, reserved, and shy enough that she worries about being too forward...so she finds another way for them to get to know each other.
