And so we leave her, scraping about the floor, weeping uncontrollably, striving to pick up the shattered pieces of her dignity…

Ahhh, the wonders of fan fiction. We all love them because they go where the actual title itself would not go--they take the storyline further out after the storyline itself ends.

And sometimes they even take it where no one else would dare to take it before!! (crack fics... heh heh... those are the best.)

I love fan fiction. I love writing it--but it doesn't come all that often to me. When it does, though, I'll put it down.

I used to be ChrystalRose, by the way. But TheAuthorRin's my official penname now, so... yesh.

I have four one-shots completed as of now, and one other one-shot that somehow morphed into a two-shot! (is that really the correct term??) And I'm also currently working on a multi-chaptered humor/fantasy story which shall hopefully turn out lovely! (I've never done an actual multi-chaptered fic before... -sweatdrop-) I'm really starting to get into fan fiction, and I find this as a very good opportunity to ready myself and my writing for NaNoWriMo 2007! I truly love writing, all sorts of writing, really-- so it makes me happy that I can get the chance to do this!

I'm also currently editing a Twilight fanfic by my dear friend Dai-sanTangmus. It's called Blood and Water. I highly recommend it, 'cause it's totally awesome. Although we're temporarily on hiatus, until we can get into the swing of school and whatnot.

You can perhaps expect more of my writing in the future--I've expanded my encyclopedia of anime and manga knowledge exponentially, so, as can be expected, there are constantly little plot bunnies floating around in my brain. Maybe someday I'll get around to putting them down on paper--or, in a more likely case, onto a Word document. Please look out for me in the future!!

Interesting Rin tidbit for now:

Rin hasn't updated this profile (or any of her stories, come to mention it) in nearly a year.

This is because Rin's sophomore year of high school has been, if not hell, an intense vortex of time-sucking goblins and chemistry homework. And really big tests--those never seemed to end, those really big tests... -shudders at memory-

P'raps I shall be more faithful this summer. ...Not promising anything, though.

You might be able to expect a new revamped profile page sometimes soon, however. If only to make Rin feel better herself.

...None of those were real tidbits...

Rin has drank two cups of tea today and is probably going for a third.
