Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter.

Hello!

I'm just an average fanfiction reader/soon-to-be writer. I've been lurking around ffnet for ages, only now finding the time and the energy to sign up.

I'm enamoured with the Harry Potter fandom. Occasionally, some other movies or books spark up something in me, but mostly I stick to my old favourite. I'm a sucker for slash pairings, so please don't be offended if you see those when I finally get round to writing.

My fav pairings include Harry being fucked into mattress by a hot, manipulative, 'evil' bastard - more often than not, Tom Riddle/Voldemort. Lucius, Gellert, Evan Rosier, one of the Lestranges- anyone dark and cunning will do, really. Though very few can trump the beauties of Tomarry.

Things I'll Try to Never Attempt in Fanfiction:

Amongst my pet peeves you can count an overly girly Harry. Seriously, people, I'm not adverse to an adorable uke-ish guy, but there should be a measure of common sense in everything! If you endow him with all the features of a girl minus the boobs and the 'plumbing', please spice up the stereotypical dull image of a PMSing teenage chit with a fiery personality and some cool ability to kick arse. Or vise versa. It's a tad tiring to waste hours plucking out the rare gems in the fandom where Harry is a bottom and you don't want to punch the author.

Even worse is the pregnant!Harry. As a child-hater, I mentally vomit every time I read most of those (some of them don't have the tag in the beginning). No, not because of the fact that he can have and likes children, because that is understandable if unpleasant, but many of those fics picture him as a worst preggers woman who would think that even the sh*t of her kid tastes heavenly. Disgusting. Besides, considering that most of these fics take place in Hogwarts, it's a mind-boggling advertisement of underage pregnancy, and that's a whole other level of sick.

Vernon-rapes. 'Nuff said.

An overabundance of law stuff. Really, I'm hooked on the books because of the magical world and all of its intricacies. Not because I'm thrilled to see Harry buddying up with goblins and filing a law-suit against everything and everyone in the Wizarding World. A sprinkle of law here and there adds flavour to the story, but if I wanted to read an endless parade of law-suits, I'd dig up my uncle's old lawyer's stuff files.

Too much bashing. You hate Dumbledore. You utterly despise and abhor him. I get it. I loathe him just as much, if it helps you any. But does it give anyone the right to turn him into a caricature of himself? If he really annoys you, make him into a worthy adversary. Make him into someone you'll hate even more! And then feel the satisfaction when the villain is finally butchered and vilified, and breathe out with relief.

When muggles have a much greater role than deserved or implied in canon. And I mean it here not as a bargaining chip in the whole 'Should they live or die?' debacle. Rather, it irritates me when the magical Ministry turns out to be under the control of the Queen and her Parliament, when pureblood supremacists like Draco and Lucius suddenly visit muggles and after a bite of pizza decide that- wow, the muggle world is the coolest thing ever! This just plain disgusts me. If you are so dead set on making purebloods love magicless people, at least please have the decency to make this descent in standards a fairly long and believable one. Or write originals. You can fully use all the modern trinkets in those.

When one country abruptly shines like a beacon in comparison to the 'stupid Brits'. Most of the time, it's America or Canada. I understand patriotism and the need to prove your native country is better, but those stories usually make me want to kill things. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that I'm European. Or just with the fact that it's highly unpleasant to read such blatant favouritism.

Things I Adore and Will Try to Include in Fanfiction:

OOC. Especially Harry's. Canon!Harry irks me: he's too stupid, unambitious, awkward, sometimes even boring! He has the whole of the Wizarding World at the tips of his fingers, but it's all lost as he never has the guts or the will to rise in the world. I hate the waste of potential.

AU. After reading so much fanfiction material, ordinary stories with just bits of canon tweaked here and there but otherwise intact don't engage me anymore. The stories when the magical culture is explored - that's another story altogether!

Twin!fics. Only please be careful about the level of abuse Lily and James portray. Neglect, some verbal bashing here and there - okay, I believe you. Outright beatings, rapes, etc. - uhn, no. Really, no. That's not the Potter style. It might be tolerated from the Dursleys but not Harry's parents.

Dark!Characters. Once again, I particularly fancy a Dark, sly and manipulative Harry. He acts so deliciously twisted in some darkfics that it makes me shudder.

Mentor/father Voldemort. The next best thing after slash.

Harry goes to another school sort of fics. You have whole worlds to explore here.

Fics that add fascinating details to the world of Harry Potter, like the mechanics of Wizengamot or the Ministry, or the differences between the Dark and the Light. Extra points if you mesh it with canon information.

That said, I don't intend to offend anyone with my pet peeves. They will be just a promise of things that I won't do once I start posting my own fanfiction. Sometimes the rest of the story entices me so much that I freely ignore some of the flows it has :)
