Merle's story after he gets off the rooftop. Merle/OC and eventually the rest of the cast we all know and love! This won't follow the show's storyline directly or the graphic novel's storyline but it will have elements from both. M for language.

Merle wasn't an unreasonable man. All he wanted to do was survive, find his brother and wreak bloody and terrible vengeance on Officer Friendly & Co. You'd think it wouldn't be a hell of lot to ask for, but with the dead walking around it's hard for a guy to catch a break. It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't still have to deal with the living... Carrie was just a high school senior college hunting in Florida during spring break, that was until the walkers rose. She's lost everything and ends up at Woodbury's doorstep after fighting on her own since the breakout. She finds an unlikely ally with quite the burden on his shoulders and a way with words like no other. Takes place before and into season three. Merle/OC
