I'm older now and I'm a completely different person than I was 3 years ago. I WAS INSPIRED WHEN I WATCHED THE BREAKFAST CLUB AT LIKE 12 AM ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT AND I'VE BEEN WRITING / EDITING SINCE. I CAN'T WAIT TO POST IT OMG AHHHH. Valerie & Vanessa Bender {Clay} are the adopted daughters of John Bender and Claire Standish-Bender {only my all time OTP from my all time favorite movie ofc!} and the actual daughters of Silas and Nina Clay. They were given up for adoption by Nina's mother when they were less than a week old. Valerie is the older twin by 5 minutes.. Claire and John were a very happily married couple who chose to adopt when they discovered that Claire couldn't conceive. The two had just finished college and moved to Port Charles where Claire was working for Deception Cosmetics at the time and John was starting an internship at the hospital as a surgeon. They never divorced and though yes, they did have their arguments, they raised the twins in a stable and happy home and it was no secret as the twins grew up that they were adopted but neither twin really bothered to ask or thought about looking for their birth parents because they'd had such a good childhood. They were curious but neither twin pushed the issue on having their birth records unsealed when they came of age. Valerie and Vanessa attended the same schools as Michael and Morgan Corinthos. And both Michael and Morgan and Valerie and Vanessa had mutual crushes on each other but thanks to parentals butting in {Carly haaaaated Claire for whatever reason *didn't take her shit, cough, cough*} and other obstacles neither set of siblings ever spoke up about their feelings. { Valerie x Morgan & Vanessa x Michael , yeah I thought about it overnight I think there's more of a potential for a story with the whole polar opposite SO thing personally.. } They're identical twins. The only real way to tell them apart physically is the fact that Vanessa prefers to keep her hair it's natural blonde color while Valerie favors brunette. They have a similar style/clothing preference but Vanessa is the one who dresses in a more seductive/provocative way while Valerie prefers sexy/cute and comfortable. {Face claim is Ashley Tisdale, blonde and brunette versions } Personality wise, Valerie is the quieter and more thoughtful one, the more well behaved one and Vanessa is the louder one, the one who was more spontaneous and more likely to get into trouble when they were kids. Currently, both twins are living under the same roof in the house they were raised in in Queens Point suburbs. Their parents are traveling as part of their retirement and reside in Oregon where John Bender has been appointed Chief of Staff at a hospital there so Valerie and Vanessa maintain their family home and the whole family gathers at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She barely knew Kristina, just didn't like the way Kiefer pushed her around. Went as a 'fuckboy' for Halloween and used texts from her actual ex boyfriend Trae when she did so. Was at the courthouse for the infamous breast feeding debate and proudly joined in. she is a huge advocate for mother's rights to breastfeed. recycles though you'd never honestly think she's the type to do it.
