![]() Author has written 18 stories for Inuyasha, Naruto, Avatar: Last Airbender, Yu Yu Hakusho, Ninja Turtles, Pokémon, Arthur, Peter Pan, and Osmosis Jones. Name: Lady.Valen Origin: Texas A brief summary of me: I am Lady Valen, ultimate procrastinator, best friend to Kariko, and a dedicated fangirl extraordinare! My ultimate goal on fanfiction is to better my writing, and breathe life into shippings that desperately need it. If you can't tell, my favorite pairings in the whole wide world are: Raph/Mona As of now, I have about two or three plot bunnies I'd like to get down on paper to help bring Raph/Mona to life. This means other stories will be put on hold until I finish Cracked. By far, I believe it to be my best fanfiction and since I kinda skipped on NaNoWriMo, my goal is to finish by the end of December, so I can then work on the Temari/Itachi series. If you are a fan of Mona Lisa, spread the word around people! Deviantart is way ahead of us right now! While I may be focused on that, my life goal is to star in a Tim Burton film alongside Johnny Depp. Interesting little tidbits of information about me. I don't like coffee. I know, all writers like coffee, but unless it's in the form of an iced mocha, I'm just not that into it. I prefer hot chocolate and Sprite Zero. I usually have an epiphany when I'm in the bathtub, or it's thunderstorming. I also can't help but write stormy scenes when the weather itself is kind of scary. =3 Animation fascinates me. Traditional, hand-drawn animation always gets my creative juices flowing. Horror films are a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, as well. I believe Gossip Girl (and my shopping list) has more literary value than Twilight. At least Gossip Girl has social commentary. Twilight had nothing going for it, because any semi-nice description was ruined by repitition. Don't think I've stopped with the Temari/Itachi series! If anything, I've made the best progress in weeks. Again, I will send summaries for those who request them. Thank you for your never-ending patience with me. :3 ATTENTION!: If you make a crack pairing, make sure there is a LOGICAL reason behind the fact that two characters from a show suddenly get together and it's not canon. I understand AU, and I've written a couple AU stories, myself. But that still means you need an actual plot and explain WHY these two characters have gotten together. Sasuke and Naruto or Draco Malfoy and Harry aren't going to meet up one day extremely horny and go at it. That would be awesome if they did in the actual, but unless it's extremely well-written, it doesn't seem appealing in fanfiction. That's right. This means we have to take extra time out of your day to explain the FEELINGS of the characters. Also, I am against things such as: Stereotypical robot characters who are either completely angsty (Hiei and Raph are excellent examples) or cheerful beyond belief to the point where you want to rip their face off. (Botan and Tohru are likely victims of this type of abuse.) Dear Fellow Ita/Temi readers: Book Three MAY not be posted until Christmas break. I promise I will write the plans for it and the outline during labor day weekend, but school is already too much stress. Oo;; Not to mention it's hot as hell here with humidity on the side. When I get home, I just wanna plop on the couch and relax. M'kay? Glad we're on the same page. =) I really love in-depth reviews that include criticism, because it helps me to better the story. If you don't like an aspect of the story, please tell me, because it helps me to better understand what readers are looking for in a great story, rather than just "I like your story." I know what I like in a story, but I don't know for sure what YOU like, so in-depth reviews are really helpful, and I try to respond to each of them with an individual "thank you" note to show my appreciation. Also, I might just review one of your stories. ;) YES, I'M TRYING TO BRIBE YOU! |
