![]() Wow, it has been an insanely long time since I have been on my profile. Long enough that I actually forgot I had a profile, and tried to make a new one, then got pissed because the site wouldn't let me. My writing habits haven't changed a whole lot in the last year, I still usually prefer to read than write. When I do write, I tend to write short stories or poems that don't have much to do with any particular show or video game or anime or book. To be honest, I would probably make a better Beta than an author. That said, I do have a few plot seeds in my head I hope to develop into full-fledged ideas and craft stories out of, but if I do I promise updates will be scattered. I have been on a mystery kick lately, and have started reading Agatha Christie novels like crazy. If anyone out there knows of any really good mystery novels, please share! Some of my favorite authors include: Neal Shusterman--Skinjacker trilogy and The Schwa Was Here, Rick Riordan for the Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus series, Agatha Christie, CS Lewis (I've been trying to get my hands on a copy of The Screwtape Letters for ages), Kurt Vonnegut, David Baldacci, Christopher Paolini, Lewis Carroll, and A.A. Milne-- as well as some works of Edgar Allen Poe Favorite Poem: either "If" by Rudyard Kipling or "Annabel Lee" by Edgar Allen Poe Favorite Book: The Phantom Tollbooth Second Favorite Book: Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There Favorite Fanfic: Embers by Vathara Favorite Series of Fanfics: Lightning Bird's history and documentation of FusionFall, beginning with Invisible Sun Favorite Literary Character: Virginia Revel of Agatha Christie's The Secret of Chimneys Well, that's all for now --almost. Maybe not the place for it, but I have to ask: Has anybody else ever sunburned their feet? That happened to me for the first time ever a couple days ago, and I never thought it could happen before. It still hurts to walk Bye, Everybody |
