Hi, I'm 19. (24/04/90)

I'm the boy who's best friends with the bookshelf & likes life to be an open book,
crinkly pages, real names, real triumphs, real disappointments & all, an epic.

Class of 2008! Me & Taylor Swift!

Throwing myself headfirst into foreign languages, bookshelf raiding, painting ludicrously tiny models,
growing funky looking plants & writing letters to people are all things I can be found doing in my spare time.

I really like a character, anyone who knows that there's always a choice and all they can be is themselves.
They're #1 on my favourite things list.

I like people who are kind, honest and polite,
I'm never one to say "nice but dim"
I think true intelligence & wisdom is measured in compassion, empathy and kindness.

I've discovered that I'm really not "complicated" All my complications come out in my letters & conversations.
All you need to do to be my friend is like me.

I don't have a middle name; although I'll answer to,
Alexus Gabriel, 003, Cohen, the oracle or fancypants. (Or even shortstuff if your my sister.)

& I'm extremely tall, yet not as tall as my bff Dan, we're the really tall guys blocking your view at a concert,
or in the Odeon; we're sorry. Really...

My ideal outfit is a cowboy meets 007 ensemble, cowboy boots essential.

I love original features of a house and home-cooked deserts.

I like people who aren't afraid to laugh really loud, or cry really hard. Go Euro!
I like quiet people too, I like everyone...

I've never been the kind of boy who needs a girlfriend,
plus I think it's really amazing when a girl asks a boy out.
That's gutsy and classy. =)

"let go, move on." is a lesson that the sooner you learn, the better off you are.
It's the only way to be truly happy.

If I like the program on telly (Planet earth!), the book in my hand (The Silmarillion), or the song that's playing (Mondo Bongo!),
You'll have to try really hard, or be really interesting to keep my attention.

Unless I'm going to work, I zip up my shoes.
The only piece of jewelery I wear constantly is my crucifix.

I grew up on the 'American Estate.' in Liverpool England, it's a Victorian estate & it was once a park,
the three streets are named after the great president Roosevelt & messers Dewey & Vanderbilt.
Google it.

I have no preference in the 'greyscale' vs. Colour photograph debate. I love both.

I like people who can treat tense or awkward situations with tact and humour,
laugh through them.

I never assume someone is not being honest with me.

I like to read about philosophy, religion, culture, myths & legends, literature, languages & geography;
so if any of my friends ever mentions anything vaguely connected, I'm likely to spout 12 different,
interconnected statements about whatever they've just said.

I think Taylor Swift & Jensen Ackles are the coolest celebrities ever,
I'd be proud if my kids looked up to them. (If I had kids.)

I don't like making tough decisions, but I enjoy the feeling I get having made one.
If I can get away with it though, "can't we just do them all?" will be my answer.

I will never, ever, straighten my hair or wear a tie to impress a girl again.

I hope there's never going to be a time when I'm annoyed by compliments (or complements for that matter.)
or friendly conversation. I'm not someone who can't give or take praise. (or criticism, but that's another story.)

I prefer a tidy, organised room
but I can deal with a messy one,
I can not deal with a disorganised mind.
As long as my thoughts are sorted, I'm happy.

I don't understand how people can say "I hate kids."
I think they're the best people on earth.

I'm a thinker, analytical over analyser, I'm not jaded
& I like to think that I will only get more open minded.
