Hey there! I'm Niki, an up-and-coming author who both reads and writes fan-fiction as a way of developing my writing skills. Someday, I hope to get good enough to publish my own original work, but for now, I use fanfiction.net as my training grounds.

So, a little about me and fanfiction. It started with an awkward, lonely, 14-year-old Niki and her love of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Throughout most of my teenage years, I was pretty reclusive and sickly because of an intense anxiety disorder. Fanfiction became a means of a escape, a way to dive into the world of the video game I so loved like never before. I started by reading stories about Link and Malon, whom I've relentlessly shipped since before I even knew what shipping was. After a while, I became inspired, and began writing some stories of my own...most of which were absolute garbage and have since been destroyed for the sake of my dignity. But I kept exploring and learning, sometimes to my own detriment, and slowly strengthened my creative muscles and writing techniques. I'm really happy that I've been able to be a part of fanfiction, even though there's a lot of bullet-dodging involved what with all the crazies posting their messed-up content here. Very few will ever understand my pain of trying to navigate the world of fandoms as a devout Catholic. But I've also learned so much about writing and storytelling, and I'll be able to take that knowledge with me into a future career in writing.

My goal now is to continue to write fanfiction as a means of perfecting my craft. I want to give people high-quality content that makes them smile and gives them important ideas to think about. I want to give homage to the stories and characters that have affected me throughout my life. And more than anything else, I want to produce stories that are worthwhile and pleasing to God. So, take a look around, skim through a couple of my stories, and see if you find something you like.
