![]() Author has written 2 stories for Death Note. Greetings to all fanfiction readers! At present I guess there's not much to tell about me. I am a total debutant, currently warming up in a Death Note section, though I hope to pay my fan tribute to other sources. List of things I like is really long. Some technical information you might like to know: *My pen-name: visiri is a word in certain asiatic language (I happen to learn) that simply means fan. In both meanings - fan like in fan-fiction and fan like in my avatar. I will not hide the fact that I am very proud of it, upon registering so recently, when so many pen-names composed of many words I tried turned out to be taken, I managed to come out with something so simple and cool! Look how inventive I am! You surely want to read stories written by somebody like that! :P :D *Critique: It is my deep belief that one simply cannot improve without knowing his/her mistakes. Therefore I always welcome constructive critique. You feel some passages in my story were boring? Please tell me! Because I don't want to write boring stories. You feel the way I develop a character is not right? Please tell me, because I want my characters to feel real. Of course I will not follow every advice but I will consider all of them. I am also grammar-nazi friendly. For same reasons. I re-check my stuff several times, so if there is a mistake probably it means my knowledge of grammar is lacking. So help me improve. I follow the same rules in reviews I write. So please don't hold it against me, it is all out of good will. I am not a hater personality, if I don't like something, I ignore it, there are too many things in this world worthy of my attention to waste time on actively hating anything. *Japanese names: As I am currently in manga/anime section it may be useful to let you know that I am always using original system of arranging names. That is: family name first, given name second. I know many translations and other material reverse it to fit western standards but I simply don't accept it. Because I can't see why everything has to fit western standards. After all when a character has western or western-inspired name, Japanese have the courtesy to keep it in proper order, not the one that is basic for them - there is Vincent Law, Edward Elric and Spike Spiegel. So I can't see why anime/manga lover should not be able to accept Yagami Light, Kurosaki Ichigo and Ikari Shinji. This is what they call themselves and what makers call them. Of course I respect the fact that others may feel more comfortable with the standarising approach. I am not telling this is what everybody should do. I am just letting you know. |
