There are some expressions that we use so much that they begin to mean nothing to us. Sometime, however, these words, these ordinary everyday phrases, mean and promise so much more than we ever expect of them. Chapter 2: Most times, the unspoken "til we meet again" is tacked on after a goodbye. Sometimes, though, a goodbye simply means "Goodbye"

Jesse and Beca have officially been together for three years and it's about time for them to graduate. Deciding to send Beca on a walk down memory lane, Jesse concocts a scavenger hunt for her to follow around Barden. Story is a lot better than the summary. Also, I own nothing but the plot.

She thinks their beginning was actually the beginning of their end. Really though, what kind of couple can have such a Hollywood-worthy beginning and then sustain a normal, functional relationship? Especially if said couple is hoping to do so across a three thousand mile chasm. A surly girl with piercings and tattoos serenading a nerdy film-buff with a 1980s hit song? Come on.

Beca and Jesse have to hide their friendship from the Bellas. Beca's not entirely worried they have something to hide, until they start to get closer. T for language.

The first thought that sprang to mind was "God, I love him." And Beca was, to put it mildly, horrified.

"I quickly walked down the stage steps, the applause still ringing in my ears, and –whoomph! It took me a split second to realize there was someone there… but my heart rate slowed when I understood it was Jesse. Then promptly sped up again because, well, he was Jesse." AU; Beca made an oath to The Bellas and to herself that she won't get emotionally attached to anyone. It makes it difficult when Jesse is such a sweetheart to her...but getting involved with a Treblemaker is self-explanatory...

Stare-off are heated exchanges between Beca and Jesse that they began the moment they met on move-in-day at Barden University. Now they were on a whole new level of intensity. Most of the time with out words, eye contact and a whole lot of sexual tension.
