Gabriel is in a happy relationship with Lucifer, until Lucifer runs off to marry Bobby...(xD). Gabrielis in a brief, unhappy relationship with Mary Winchester until Mary cheats on Gabriel with Castiel. Gabriel finally takes the advice of Dean and settles into a happy relationship with Sam Winchester! XD so that's why Gabriel is usually paired with Sam.
