When returning from a mission, Amethyst's gem rebuilds and she partakes in a process which is incredibly painful. Garnet unfuses to help take care of her, while Steven and Ruby are taking care of her Ruby loses her temper, which leaves Amethyst in a vegetative state, while her gem summons enemies from her past.
