Hey I'm Amber...aspiring fanfic author, but current beta reader. I love to read, and often find things wrong in printed novels. I'm definitely a grammar nazi.

I love fanfics because it gives me a little dose of my stories, and sometimes fics can play out scenes differently than they appeared in the books... that is, if there was sometihng that turned out a way I didn't want it to.

My current loves are: The Southern Vampire Mysteries by Charlaine Harris, The Black Jewel Trilogy by Anne Bishop, The Anita Blake Novels by Laurel K. Hamilton, The Nocturne City Books by Caitlike Kittredge, The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind, The Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer, The Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling, and a few others I'm probably just not thinking of right now.

I'm definitely all in favor of Sookie being with Eric, and having Bella with Edward.

One of my favorite things to do is watch movies that used to be books. I love watching them twice...once to enjoy it just as a move, and a second time to have seen it enough times to tear it apart for how different it was than the book. Things like Trueblood. I love Trueblood. They say that it's based on the books, but it doesn't take on the same name or promies to be exactly like the books. That's fine and dandy. But when Harry Potter took the exact names of the books, they needed to keep the aesthetic of the book there. They changed them way too much. now lets see how Twilight does. shrug

I love to do extreme sports, mountain boarding, extreme mountain biking, scuba, climbing high mountains, etc.
