![]() Author has written 3 stories for Mega Man, and Love Hina. I'm a freelance fanfiction writer. I write neither for profit nor for fame. If I'm going to write, at least I have a non-existing entity influencing me to write. It's like an urge that keeps knocking the back of your head. Give me reviews, good or bad, and I'll give something of a good (or bad, depending on my reaction to your reaction) story in return. :) Age: 33 Gender: Male Height: 5'10" Nationality: Filipino Status: Single Occupation: Resident Physician Location: Southeast Asia (look at countries with "P") Interests: surfing the web, participating in online discussions, reading books, watching TV, playing video games Favorite Books: e-books, manga Favorite TV Shows: Anime, J-dorama, News Favorite Movies: Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Rom-Com If you're looking for my serious literary works: Incoming Fanfiction Plots (They're still in the imagination stage, and as such are not even created yet. Don't expect them to be published just yet. Oh, and some called them, plot bunnies.) Love Hina Alternate Universe: The Hinata Crew as the newspaper staff of "The Daily Hinata" Love Hina in a Final Fantasy X setting Love Hina as the staff of a popular fastfood chain Original Fanfiction: A bionic fugitive with the looks of a 12-year-old boy is hunted down by the galactic police and seeks refuge in the far flung fringes of Earth Love Hina Alternate Universe: A mysterious visitor, a former member of a mysterious evil organization, comes to Hinata Sou to seek sanctuary Love Hina Crossover/Alternate Universe: a group of Love Hina fanfiction authors are sent to the Anime World, and must defend Hinata Sou from the forces of evil A Love Hina - Azumanga Daioh switch-over (if there ever is such a term) Love Hina with a Girls Bravo element: What if Keitaro Urashima, instead of Sasaki Yukinari, gets hives when touching the Hinata girls? How will this affect life at Hinata Sou? A Love Hina fic with some elements of twin characters/multiple personalities (title and plot undecided) Love Hina - Mahoraba - Negima Crossover! Upcoming Fantasy Fic, "Soul Crest" Vandread - Love Hina crossover Star Ocean 3 - Mahou Sensei Negima crossover One of the best assassins is sent to infiltrate the Mahora campus, covertly disguised as a female teacher, to accomplish one objective: track down and eliminate the Dark Evangel. How will she do it, and will it work? Set 2X years after Megaman ZX Advent: Master Albert's revolt failed. In order to correct the world, the remaining Sages, the ambitious Master Thomas and a reluctant Master Mikhail, set forth to discover a new biometal that would lead the 4 other biometals with their Biomatches. Set 1X years after Megaman ZX Advent: After the events at the Ouroboros, Model Z's current location remained unknown. Unfortunate individuals "discovers" the biometal and are thrust into an quest to save the world alongside Aile, Model X, the Guardians, and the Hunters. So it's possible to cross from Academy City to Gensokyo through the Gap. Surely, the opposite couldn't be possible, right? Alice and Marisa are about to find out. With the original Service Club having graduated, and a new batch of students entering Soubu High, how will Hachiman's own little sister Komachi continue the legacy? (title and plot undecided) Most of you already know about fanfiction writing and reviewing, but for those who are beginners to such a topic, here are various resources I picked on the Internet. What is a beta reader and why do I need one? 5 Things You Should Know about Working with Beta Readers A Quick Guide to Beta Reader Etiquette Fave Quotes: I believe that fanfictions should be appreciated by the original authors because fanfictions keep the fantasy alive. In fanfiction we keep the possibilities open and sometimes it shows so much more excitement than the original thing! Everyone has Authorspace! People have a weird way of acting when it comes to relationships. And, from what I've noticed, people don't know exactly how to deal with life when certain situations come up. Bashing a character that clearly does not deserve it is tacky and tasteless at best and infuriatingly obnoxious at worst. If you're really that jealous of a fictional character, maybe you need to spend less time in front of the TV. Fact of life is, a game, no matter how good it is, is most entertaining when it is fresh, with new things to explore and find. Once you've played the game through a few dozen times, the novelty of it all wears off, and it's no longer quite as fun. English was invented by people, not computers, and it reflects the creativity of the human race (which of course, isn't a race at all). There are some purists out there who insist that if a fanfic is not written within context of events in either the manga or the anime series, then it is automatically crap. ... even the most trite Mary Sue serves a psychological purpose for his or her creator...and sometimes, believe it or not, the best can wind up being lauded as legitimate characters and gathering fans beyond their original scope. An author's job is to write; and there's no reward for quantity. The "what if" is the most important question in any fan fiction. An author always asks the question, "What if?"; it is the driving force behind this style of writing and life. There are so many possibilities that can occur in a great story. Fan Fiction writing is REAL! Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise. TV show writers get PAID the big bucks for writing about other people’s characters. It’s not a lot different from what we do. Try to keep your character, in character. Try and mimic writing styles. It may lead you to a very lucrative writing career. Let fan fiction hone your skills. Practice. Practice. Practice. Write write write. Not knowing much about a character’s past is both good and bad. It’s bad in that you don’t have anything to go on and as such you’ve got to make up everything and make sure it hangs together. One the other hand you’re free make up whatever you want. To some, fanfiction is just a way to express their creativity, to me, it is used as a tool to see into an author's mind... to literally see their dreams being brought into existance. |
