Submission for a vd kink prompt: Elena has to pose as Katherine for whatever reason . Elijah, however, quickly figures out she's not Katherine and decides to see how far she'll go with the act.

The buildup is a slow burn that takes over. If you wait too long though, it'll consume you and destroy you. Elena won't let that happen to Elijah. They'll take each other's fire while their own grows. It's the fire of love.

Elena/Elijah "We do need to get a move on, if we want to sneak away." He placed one hand on her hip while the other moved down the side of her dress. He had her up in his arms before she could reconsider her request. He was seizing the moment, as was she.
