I love to write. I don't know what I want to write about yet, though. I'm obsessive over spelling all of the time, grammar most of the time. Random fact: my eighth grade year of grade school, I got second place in the school spelling bee, third place in the district spelling bee, and thirteenth place in the regional spelling bee. I watch the Scripps National Spelling Bee every year.

Makayla Goatley is a pen name. However, it is similar to my real name.

I love music, especially indie rock. My favorite band is The Shins. I've listened to them since I was in sixth grade. Some other bands I like are The Ruby Suns, White Hinterland, Broken Bells, Throw Me the Statue, and Horse Feathers.

I love to laugh. I am independent, mostly. I love animals, especially my cat. I've wanted a dog since I was in first grade.
