In the advent of a tragedy rose the defensive Barricade, the Academies were shut down and the Hunters disbanded. Ruby Rose, denied the one path she had sought in life now wanders without direction, lost in a forever changing world. [Chapter 26 is up!]

They are a universe, and every star is a story, bound by Destiny. Between these stars, some things change. In one she is blind, in another, a soldier, and in yet another a huntress. But for everything that changes, something stays the same. Ruby always defends what she loves, Weiss is always stronger than she thinks, and Blake always runs. Only, what if Weiss never came to Beacon?

Turns out being the leader of a team has a big drawback: whenever your team does something stupid, you get blamed because you couldn't control them properly. Poor Ruby Rose gets subjected to this blame game so many times, until one day, she finally snaps. Rated M for extreme language and mentions of sexual activies.

RNJR has some important business in Mistral, and Ozpin seems strangely hesitant to tell Oscar what it is.

Ruby was rooted to the ground unable to tear her eyes away from the picturesque woman. Her heart thrashed wildly against her chest, threatening to break free and follow the other artist home. She had never felt this way before. It scared her, but at the same time she had never felt more alive.

A series of loosely related one shots that form a sort of sequel to my previous story, albeit with much more fluff and humor than before! Also, a lot of money made for Weiss' repair company.

Newly graduated and given their first assignment, team RWBY are sent to a beach resort near Menagerie to find and kill a Grimm that has been terrorizing the island. It's an ideal first mission, except Yang is in love with Blake - who she last saw kissing Sun. Made worse since new couple Weiss and Ruby want to share a room, leaving Yang in a very difficult spot.

Love comes in many forms. It can take multiple shapes. It can rage loud like a tumultuous storm, or can strike in a silent fury. Love can heal. It can soothe the soul. When Yang and Blake suddenly announce their engagement, Ruby (still actively working as a huntress) and Weiss (heading up the Schnee Dust Company) will be forced to reenter each other's lives - years after a bitter falling out brought on by the harsh realities of the war with Salem they fought in together. Blake's new neighbor is beautiful, gregarious, and definitely NOT interested in someone as boring as herself - no matter how much her imagination loves to think otherwise. Yang's new neighbor is gorgeous, reserved, and shy enough that she worries about being too forward...so she finds another way for them to get to know each other.

What happens when a young optimistic faunus meets an icy heiress? Will they be willing or able to over come the hurdles of a bumpy road? The consequences of the mission to Mountain Glenn stretch far beyond the civilian casualties in Vale.
