Currently in college. I am not an English major but am more into the sciences. I have many interests and maybe writing will work itself into the mix seeing as I enjoy reading what are considered Classic Literature. I do not consider myself as a full fledged nerd but there are certain areas where one small event may send me over the line. To clarify, I enjoy Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Comic Book movies, but I do not wait in line the day of release to make sure I get one of the first copies of what ever it is I am interested. I did that once for the sixth Harry Potter book and I promised myself that I would never stay up that late again for the premire release. There are more important things in life to worry about. I have never dressed up for a movie showing and I do not intend to do so. I do own an Australian copy of the Deathly Hallows and got it on the same day as the American release. I am also not that big of a gamer. Games like World of Warcraft just do not interest me. I am trying this for fun and see what kind of reaction I get.

A little bit more about me: I am not attending Michigan State. I lived at least 20 minutes from campus for most of my life and they are my team. Professional sports I follow to the bare minimum but tend to root for the Patriots in football, the Red Wings in hockey(hey I'm from Michigan so it's kinda in my blood), and Angels and Yankees in baseball. The Lions are a disappointment to me and the Tigers are inconsistent. I do not like pro-basketball but like to watch Labron suffer a little. Big time lacrosse fan. I am very conservative but not to the point of extremist. I am also a big classic rock fan, mostly AC/DC, Aerosmith, Bruce Springsteen, Van Halen, Tom Petty, and the list could go on and on and on. I have also gotten in to the blues quite a bit lately. The only relatively modern band I listen to is Hootie and the Blowfish. I don't like a lot of the stuff that is put out by the "artists" of today.

Stories: The way I write is mostly off the top of my head with no plan really as to what it will look like as a finished product. Even my essays for school never really had a set outline, but they turned out okay to good. Some things I will not touch, like sex scenes. It makes me uncomfortable and would probably show if I did write one. So, if I do have a M rated story, like Trouble on the Way to Victory, it will be mostly for violence and language (even if it is not always present). Also, don't expect a whole lot of symbolism with my stories. If it is there, it is unintenional. I try to say what I want to say without any metaphors and the like.

Trouble on the Way to Victory: Pokemon. My first and will probably be my longest story. It takes place after Unova by maybe two years and will focus around aura and the Chosen One. It may not seem like it at first, but I want to get his first League tournament out of the way before I get deeper into that part of the story. I don't know how long it will be in the end because I write completely off the top of my head with no real plan set in place. I do know what the ending will kinda look like, but I don't know how I will get there. Also, don't let the rating discourage you. It will mostly be due to violence that will come up way later in the story, but an event like that is to come soon. Chapters done, but not necessarily posted: 43

Unfinished: Pokemon. This is my first one-shot and to a certain extent is a little personal. My grandfather passed away, and after about a week or so I came up with this idea. It is longer than most of the chapters in my first story and from what I have seen, most one-shots on this site. I like Science-Fiction books, and one of my favorites is The Time Machine. I also like the Back to the Future triolgy. Some of you are probably wondering why I am putting this here. Read the story to find out.

Victory Takes a Holiday: Pokemon. A collection of one-shots that detail events that take place during the main story that are not necessarily important to the main plot. Updates will be on a as the inspiration hits me basis, but I do have ideas. This replaces my one-shot about the trip home from the Orange Islands I had planned. It is included with this selection.

Untitled side story: Pokemon. I came up with an idea kinda in the middle of writing a chapter of Trouble on the Way to Victory. I was struggling a little bit with it so I decided to move on. In doing so, I started to plan a little bit ahead. It will be within Trouble on the Way to Victory, but at the same time, it is not necessarily a part of the story (if that makes any sense). More on this when I get to that point in story.

Untitled period piece: Pokemon. This is a work in progress in my head that I plan to get around to writing once all of Trouble on the Way to Victory is done. It will take place in a time not unlike Paris during the French Revolution. I don't know who the main characters will be just yet other than Ash. It may also include the musketeer trio from Unova in some way (otherwise they may get their own story).
