An AU set in the Old West. Why? Because I want to know how a proper, aspiring female doctor would react to a driven, hard-as-nails woman on the range. They don't know it yet, but Maura's fiancee just met his match.

AU: Jane and Mara are 17 and meet at summer camp. In this AU, they are 17 now, not when they were probably actually 17 sometime prior to the internet being so readily available.
