Ok, Let me tell ALL of you Anzu/Téa bashers out there!!

There are very few things that get me angry. Even fewer on bashers since, though I do not bash, I have a fair share of characters I dislike. But Anzu bashing has proved to be one of my pet peeves. The pure idiocy of the basher in YGO! Fandom makes me want to curl up in a ball and cry myself to sleep.

Maybe they mass-produce rabid-fangirl morons at some farm in America because there is a lot of Anti Anzu sentiment in the fandom. I haven't seen anything this hideous since the anti-Relena phase of Gundam Wing. The bashing here is so thoroughly asinine that I have now given up all hope for humanity.

People have every right to dislike a character, but when they bash them in a senseless way then I have every right of bashing them. I am near disgusted with the YGO! fandom, mostly that of FF.net. In fact when I put bashing on the search engine of YGO! section; around 60 out of the hundred hits specially stated they was going to be Anzu/Téa bashing. This is excluding those that bash everyone. (Pegasus and Honda are a close to her though)

Why do people hate her? Well the fact that she is a main female character in a shounen series is reason enough for most people. Yes, because she has boobs she is bashed. I weep for you, I really do.

Secondly, her and Yuugi are practically cannon. Rabid yaoi-fangirls and marysuexYuugi fanatics now despise her even more than she was. In fanfictions, they portray this evil Yuugi or Yami Yuugi greedy bitch conspiring to keep Yuugi for herself. I've even seen a Mary-Sue fic bashing her, oh the irony of it all.

For some reason, anyone that even remotely gets between people and their strange sexual fantasies deserves to be bashed, thrown out of character, and have rumors created -_-. I find this despicable. I'm an AnzuxKaiba fan, and I know that Yuugi and Anzu are more than likely going to be together and I accept it. I don't hate Yuugi, Yami Yuugi, Isis, nor the blue eyed girl. And if there was going to be yaoi it would more than likely by JouxYuugi and I would still love both characters to death

She doesn't duel. It's kind of disappointing to me to but do you understand how tedious and boring all the characters would be if they ALL dueled? Where would the extra Jou pizzazz be if Honda also dueled, and his little sister, and Mokuba. Professional dueling isn't suppose incorporate a large amount of people, if everyone was in it then it would seem anyone could be one.

Besides Anzu is not about dueling, she's about supporting Yuugi.

Fourthly, people hate her because she's so 'annoying'. Meaning she gives friendship speeches. Seriously, do these people have the brains the size of their pimples or something? If they listened to everyone objectively, they would know Yami Yuugi says a lot more friendship speeches then she does. Of course, no one cares because, in the words of one Anzu basher, "Well he's cute so I don't mind."

They also call her a bitch. Wow, that's the weakest argument ever made. True Anzu isn't a Shizuka (thank god for that) but she's devoted to Yuugi and the only time she's nasty is when someone is to him. She never attacks anybody without reason, she never mindlessly hates somebody, how do you get the impression that she's a bitch?

People like to bring up the Kaiba incident in which Anzu called him heartless. And you know what?- I would to. He had good intentions but he never told it to anybody so it seems he's been doing all this bad stuff for no apparent reason. Besides I read a quote somewhere, she was more encouraging him to have faith in himself then telling him he's heartless.

They also make her out to be a whore, which is the biggest pile of crap. It's Yuugi that likes her, not the other way around. She doesn't show any signs she wants to seduce anybody. I mean half the time their life in danger, she's got more important things to worry about!

All in all, people are just being stupid and it makes them feel better to beat up on Anzu. So I say, "shove it" to all those who might feel angry at my post because I'm just calling it as it is. Anzu is cool, her bashers are not.

And that's the way it will always be.

!NOTE! If I find out ANYONE who bashes Anzu/Téa, you WILL be hearing from me! You got that? And trust me, you DO NOT want to get on my bad side...
