![]() Author has written 5 stories for True Blood, and Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire Mysteries. I'm originally from Russia, lately from Australia and now reside in Cyprus. While running our own business keeps me extremely busy, I try and make time for writing my fics. NEWS: As 2013 coming to an end, sort of, but then you all know how fast times flies, I realised I haven't posted anything in a really long time. It does not mean I haven't written, I have. *sigh* But, isn't there always one hanging around somewhere? And it's always big? This but has to do with the fact that while I have several, yes, several unfinished stories, they are all that: unfinished. Not moving anywhere. On of those is Dying Soul. Which is at present more than halfway done. *sigh* Due to my choppy (every couple of months) writing, it's riddled with errors on a huge scale. Not to mention grammar issues. Which is why it's still sitting there. Just thought I'd put it out there. I am writing. I'm just not sharing much. LOL But when I do, it'll be complete works from here on out. No hanging for an ending. Ever! So maybe that'll make you guys feel better, if there is anyone still out there waiting for anything. Here's an update on my ongoing and future stories: Dying Heart: is being finished as I'm writing this. It will hopefully be done before the end of the year. The only reason I'm giving myself such a long deadline is due to my constantly shifting work hours. If something comes up...I may be unable to write for a week or two...but I am definitely moving in the right direction with this one. Hades' Daughter: this one is a bit of a sore spot for me. I love this story. I want to finish it, but...seeing as I have limited time and this baby needs a lot of love for me to get through to the end of it, well, I am reluctantly putting in on the shelf for now. So if you are waiting for an update it could be a while. I know I'll get back to it and finish it eventually, I'm just not sure when. Massacre of St Petersburg: Pam's story will be the next on my to do list after DH is done. I just don't have enough free time right now to split my focus between stories. I'm not sure which of the following will be written first as I'm considering taking a small hiatus from the Dying series. Dying Soul: The next story in the Dying series will be up sometime end next year. Yes, I'm being realistic here. I've decided to take a different approach with this one and write the whole thing before I start posting anything. Many of you will not be happy with this plan, but I feel that in order for this particular story to be good I have to do it this way. I love DL and DH but wish I could go back and re-write parts of it so they fit the overall plot better. Well, the plot will thicken in the next story and seeing as I'm not much of a planner it makes more sense for me to write/edit and then publish the whole thing. The good news is that once I do start putting it up online, the updates will be fast and furious. ;) My Undead Family: Something of a plot bunny right now, with a few bits and pieces I've written to get the feel for the characters. It's going to be a stand alone multi-chapter. I won't give too much away apart from saying it will be my first Sookie/Eric pairing story and it will be based mostly on SVM universe. xxx mavrosal To my Beta girls: Over the year and a bit I've been writing I've had several girls who Beta'ed for me: AshleySue, MellyKen, BathshebaRocks and csad. I love all of you guys for putting up with my insecurities, serial cases of blindness towards misspelling certain names *winks at MellyKen, completely atrocious cases of grammar fuck ups and lack of any type of editing skills. You ALL ROCK my socks off! Thank you isn't enough to explain how much I appreciate your help. A/N: my profile dribble has been left un-beta'ed so all mistakes belong to me and me alone *winks* I'd like to take my hat off to despairsrai, who pre-reads for me, assuring me that I'm not completely crap and should continue writing. Your awesome, agapi mou! A small thank you to all my readers: Thank you for taking the time to read my stories. Thank you for reviewing if you have done so, the feedback no matter how small is always welcome and needed. It encourages me to try, and get better, and not give up when I feel like I can't get around a clusterfuck I've written my story into. You guys rock! You guys are the main reason I'm still writing and the one thing I kept thinking about when I was pestering hubs to hurry up and get me my computer back so I can get back to writing as quickly as possible. I am sorry this year I've been so slow. I am constantly thinking about all of you and every word you send my way warms my heart. Apart from here I also post on my wordpress )www.mavrosal.wordpress.com), it has pretty graphics with each chapter, as well as a collection of banners I made for others. You can find me on twitter(I'm mavrosal here as well) too, that's where I tend to keep a running commentary of what's going on with my stories. This really reminded me of Sookie: if i ever push you away, i don’t really mean to. when i tell you i don’ t want to talk about it i do, i am just looking for the right words. give me a minute, and if i can tell you; i will. i try to be a struggling mix of real and perfect at the same time. at the moment, i am working on the ratio. when i get really quiet sometimes it is because i have too much to say i have thought of too many things to tell you all at once and i don’ t know what to say first. i get immaturely jealous of anyone who gets to see you on daily basis. i miss you really easily. but i also like that we can be a p a r t and we are both okay. space is good, too. i love the way we love some of the same things. and i love how we love entirely different things. my head is a complicated pile of thoughts, and fears, and cravings, and dreams, and this tangled up nostalgia for the past and, somehow, the future. i am flawed and i am human and i am broken and i am trying, and i am one person and i am two hands and i am one heart and i love you and i am so glad you are here. It's from this really cool site: |
