I haven't forgotten about this story. I do intend to finish it, but I'm in law school now and have very little time. The central issue is that I started this story at a time when I wasn't smart enough to plan stories out before I started writing them, so now I have to take the existing portion and figure out how to tie it all together and end it satisfactorily. I do have a basic working idea for how this all comes together, and when I get some time I will try to finish it.

I appreciate all the wonderful reviews I've gotten over the years, and am always overjoyed when a review alert pops into my inbox even though I've neglected the story all these years.

Chapter 9 is up, detailing the sad story of Rin. I left my outline in another state, so expect the next installment of Years Pass On around mid-August, when I'll have a chance to pick it up and see what the next chapter has in store.
