Hello! I am not new to writing fanfiction by any means. I have been writing for roughly 11 years now. My expertise falls on NASCAR though. A long time ago, I used to pen for this site, but they got rid of the NASCAR category because they involved 'real people'. I still write about NASCAR but post on a different site. Been on a NCIS: LA kick now and have decided to try my hand at something new. I've read and reread a lot of NCIS: LA stories on here and slowly reviewing them. As you can see in my penname, I am a Callen and Kensi fan. I like Deeks well enough, just not enough to pair him with Kensi over Callen. I'm not the best when it comes to remembering NCIS:LA episodes and wish I was able to watch them again so I can pick up things here and there to be able to add to my stories.

A few things you should know about my writing:

1.) I won't beg for reviews. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE reviews and enjoy getting them, letting me know someone is reading my story and like it. But I know a lot of people just read and move onto the next story without leaving anything.

2.) I will not review ransom. I will not hold out on a chapter until I get X amount of reviews. That's just dumb and should not be the reason for posting stories.

3.) I will never post a quickie chapter that's only 300 or so word drabble just to update. I don't like it when others do that and I will not do it. That is not a chapter to me and I believe you are only cheating your readers out of a new chapter to read causing their interest in your story to wane. I will post proper chapters. Ones that I've worked hard on and taken the time to write.

4.) I will not post stories until the story is completed or on the final chapters. I know how writing goes, you start a new story and it comes out of the box quick and you're cranking out chapters. Posting them as quickly as you write them. Then you get to the middle of your story and you can't write anymore. You suffer from immense writer's block. You have no update to give and your story just sits. If it's not posted, I have ample amount of time to work through the blockage without worrying that I haven't updated for my readers in awhile.

5.) There will mostly likely be minor spelling and/or grammatical errors. I am my own reader. Errors slip by without my noticing. And after awhile and reading the same chapter over and over again, the words all blend together. But I do try to catch all the typos. I will be the first to say that I am not the best at grammar and punctuation placement. There will be times I'll put a comma where it doesn't need to be and so forth. My apologies.

6.) I will never write in the first person and POV's. I will never switch POVs. All my stories will be written in the third person.

7.) Not being used to writing these characters, I will try my best to write them as they are portrayed on the show. I will try to keep them in character (minus the obviously changes to make Callen and Kensi a couple).

8.) I will also never write a run-on story which to me consists of chapter after chapter after chapter of so many twists and turns to get it going that you've forgetten the main storyline. And by that time you've written upwards over 60 plus chapters, careening toward 100. To me, those aren't stories. Those are authors thinking of idea after idea and putting them all in the same story. After awhile, the reader loses interest and thinks, "just end it already."
