Well HI!

Name's Nick, or Nicholas Curtis (first name/middle name if you were interested).

I've been writing fictional pieces for all of two months now, don't exactly have a lot of experience with the fictional process (Time progression/Character development are probably my greatest weaknesses..and that damn semi-colon, *shakes fist*).

I love writing prompts; just the idea of transforming a seven word statement into a six-hundred word situational short for example, well - there really is no greater pleasure to me.

I don't watch a lot of television - I don't get out very often - I don't play many video games.

I'm a single high school drop-out making my "seven, twenty-five" an hour, but my ends meet at the end of every month and I've got a basically endless supply of digital ink and paper right here in my lap.

I have no "higher education" - went to get my Lib. Arts Degree in the spring of 2011. I thought I wanted to be a computer programmer - HAH - That didn't last very long (I went for a few weeks and all I really got from it was five-thousand dollars debt and a caffeine addiction). Needless to say school just isn't my thing. I've never had, "decent structure" maybe that's why the "writers life" appeals to me so well.

When you know the rules, there are no rules - Endless possibility from nothing more than a little imagination (and proper punctuation usage =P).

Fan Fiction - well, I wouldn't say it isn't fun for me.. I love to take my favorite characters and put them in sticky situations. It gives me the impression that I'm watching them worm their way out of whatever I throw at them as I write it but..I see Fanfic as a tool I would use to better hone my own writing skills - keeps me on point.

I will add more to this in the future, maybe - yeah probably, I'll eventually create a Facebook page for my own work - that is, if I obtain followers who enjoy my writing style - Nahh, I'ma do it anyway.
