![]() Author has written 4 stories for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, and Maria-sama ga Miteru. I'm currently in the process of three stories for Maria-sama Ga Miteru; 'Keeping Future' for Maria-sama ga Miteru (aka Marimite), is a Yumi/Sachiko-centric fic with a rubbish title and very little in the way of excitement because its very character focussed. I decided to try and write something that carries the tone of the anime/manga/novels and that follows on where it left off, but I would never be pompous enough to consider it a sequel. My heart beats only for Yumi and Sachiko, so the other characters will play only a subdued part in the story. After a long, three-year hiatus, I've finally continued the story with Chapter 13. I'm in the process of 14 now, and once 15 has been at least half-way completely, I'll upload 14. The other two are as yet untitled. The first, already nearly 6k long, involves Sachiko and Yumi beginning an affair which is mostly conducted at the school in which they both work, even though Sachiko is married to Suguru and Yumi is engaged to Masamune. It will be M rated as it opens with a steamy scene in the art supply closet, but rather than it being PWP, it is more of a study into the kinds of decisions one must make in the pursuit of happiness, even if it causes upheaval in every other aspect of your life, and about the unexpected places in which we find it. The second, barely an amoeba of an idea for now, has Sachiko meet Yumi in London. Sachiko is a pro poker player and is participating in her first televised tournament. Yumi works at the station where it is being filmed and decides to show Sachiko a good time while she is in the country as Yumi knows London well - she moved to England with her family as a young teen and studied at a London university. In return, Sachiko teaches Yumi how to play poker. Other stories; My second priority is a Kannazuki no Miko fic that revolves around the two heriones' meeting on the street and the subsequent building of their relationship. It is, as of yet, untitled. Lastly, I am writing a Strawberry Panic Shizuma fic that explores her character and the events in her past that came to shape the personality that we are shown in the series. It will be as cannon as I can make it. I just always felt that there could have been more depth given to these characters, so I'm testing it out. There are a few more ideas swimming around in my head. Some are crossovers, because I'd love the idea of Shizuma, Sei and Sachiko meeting. I see Shizuma as the amalgamation of the most dominant characteristics displayed by Sachiko and Sei, and I'd love to try my hand at writing a good comedy (we all know that it would have to be a comedy, given how thin on the ground Strawberry Panic is), and also because I've never tried writing a crossover. Some are stand-alone fic ideas for certain characters, just to try and explore them. I'm also considering a bit of Fullmetal. In regards to Buffy; 'Addiction', my wiffy fanfic, is on hiatus. I've let it hang but I do have every intention of continuing one day. It means I'm giong to have to watch season six again because I've not watched Buffy in a loooong time, but I also plan on taking down 'Wish Upon A Demon' and giving it a good reworking, as well as continuing my tentatively written sequel to 'Softly'. Me I'm twenty-eight now. When I started writing my Buffy fics I was fifteen or sixteen, so the difference in writing style between 'Wish Upon A Demon' and 'Keeping Future' will probably be quite apparent. I have a 2 year old son, a deep dislike of cooking and I can imitate the singing voices of every single Disney princess. I'm... not sure if I should be proud of that or not. |
