I am a graduate of the University of Rochester with a BA in English and a minor in History. I've been making up stories since I learned how to use my imagination and writing basically since I learned how. Of course, much of it was utter and total crap!

I do believe my writing has improved since I scrawled little bits of stories about 'Rainbow Brite' on my screen. Yes, I wrote on the edges of my screen--back in the day when windows had wooden frames. Regardless, my first fanfic was for the NBC soap Passions, but I'm out of that phase, and into LotR (though I pledge to keep my shameless self-inserted fantasies to myself).

If you've come here through one of the few reviews I've made, let me say this: I follow the golden rule. I will do onto others as I would have others do onto me. In that sense, I will send criticism. I rarely bother leaving reviews for bad stories. I will tell you if I find a story bad for the fandom that it is in, but that does not mean I think it is a bad story. There is a distinction.
