Author has written 1 story for Keeper of the Lost Cities. Name: Well, I am not going to tell you my real name. You can just call me The Shadow Kitty, Shadow Kitty or Shadow. Gender: Cisgender female. Quote of the Week: "Hope will never be silent." - Harvey Milk
Hi! I am The Shadow Kitty (obviously), though you can call me almost anything. Do not worry, whatever nickname you come up with probably is not going to be the weirdest. I have been called Gloss and Lasagna before. So, if you really want to know me, I suppose you should know about my personality. I am shy, quiet and polite (most of the time), but when I am around my friends I tend to get loud and a "little" wild. I am rather sarcastic, and I do not like being around people who I am not familiar with. Learning new things is fun, but I am by far not the ideal student. Fun and very obvious fact: I love books. Some of my favorites are the Warriors series, the Finishing School series, The Lunar Chronicles, The School for Good and Evil series (I did not like A World Without Princes very much) and Love Saves the Day (it is not a romance novel, it is about a cat). Currently I am reading A Game of Thrones, Imprudence and The Graveyard Book. I am obsessed with Doctor Who. I do not know why I love it so much, but I do. If you want, we could have an hour-long conversation about it. Basically, if you need to rant about the awesomeness of Doctor Who or the stupidity of "Fear Her's" ending, come to me. I will join you in fangirling/critiquing/being a Whovian. I enjoy fencing, reading and writing. I have fenced for two and a half years, and although I hate tournaments I am hoping to continue to fence at least until my junior year in highschool. I love writing, and although I have a ways to go before I can publish a book, I am hoping to become a published author when I grow up. I will be participating in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), so during November I will not be updating very much.
When I am writing fanfiction, I try to highlight issues in the world that were not addressed. Either that, or my thought process is something along the lines of “How would this character react to this situation?” Unfortunately or not (depending on your point of view), this often leads to OC’s needing to be a part of the story. To explain this in one sentence, I alter the universe to highlight issues in the world or just to see how characters will react. I write when I have inspiration, so there may be long pauses between chapters or stories may go on hiatus. Other times I will be hit with inspiration and therefore be updating stories every other day. As mentioned above, I will not be updating very much in November because I will be busy with NaNo. My fanfictions will be mostly oneshots and short fanfictions rather than long stories
Please note that a most of these descriptions are longer than the ones on the actual story. Not Intelligent Enough : Keeper of the Lost Cities fanfiction Years ago, after the dinosaurs nearly went extinct, a few elven scientists decide that the species may need to change, as so they can survive other disasters. They decide to create hybrid creatures, who can withstand things that a normal elf cannot When they finally create these hybrids, they realize that they do not possess enough "elven purity," so they were banished from elven society. Thousands of years later, a plague hits the elves. They have no choice but to abandon their cities and run into uninhabited areas of the Earth. There they find the hybrid creatures, and beg for the hybrids to help them. The hybrids take them in, but that does not mean the hybrids have forgiven the elves. Status: 10/? (Ten chapters out of an unknown amount), on haitus The Three Dizznees: Keeper of the Lost Cities short fanfiction Being a triplet is the worst. Being part of a bad match is the second-worst, and being the son of a bad match and the brother of triplets is the third-worst. All in all, being a Dizznee is terrible. You get treated terribly, mocked and stared at. Lex is tired of having his sister be mocked. Bex is tired of crying. Rex is tired of keeping secrets. Kesler is tired of the whispers and Dex is tired of being underestimated. And their children would be forced to live with the evil one's children. |
