Author has written 5 stories for Lord of the Rings, Robin Hood, and Harry Potter. Hummm... The bio of me... Somehow I don't feel this is necessary... But I have been yelled at by one person too many so... Here it goes!Ok... I'm an 18 year old New Jersian female answering to the name of Jem Silvering... I enjoy long walks on the beach, dace classes, and all things fluffy. Oh, wait, that's my little sister! Silly me... The real me hates the beach (too much sand) but loves the boats, I take tae qwan doe classes (second degree black belt, thank you very much), and spinning rifles with my drill team (not much fluff there!). Saddly, yes, I am afflicted with the perpetual voice inside my head telling me to write things down... and on occasion I have been foolish enought let those stories get the better of me... but I'll try to keep them under control. My favorite genra of books is, obviously, fantisy. The love of my life is none other than the master himself, J.R.R.Tolkien. Wishfull thinking I know, being that Tolkien is dead and all, but a girl can dream! My favorite books... Now thats a tough question. Well, not really if you count any and every book Tolkien ever wrote, but I'm gonna take that as a given. Um... I love The Earth's Children series and The Mists of Avalon series. I have also reciently been reduced to (and forced into) reading Harry Potter. But what's even sadder is that I'm actually enjoying it (go ahead and gloat Sam, go ahead and gloat). I love and am slightly addicted to several fan fiction stories and authors, on a number of different books. However, contrary to my previous statements of adoration, I cannot bring myself to read Tolkien fan fics... I even have a problem with reading some of Christopher's works, and he's Tolkien's own son! But almost any other type of fanfic is good reading in my book (which is very large at this point)! I am a hopless romantic, a picky critic, a stickler for accurate characterization, and I have a major tendency to obsses over various topics. Throw in a boat and an over-active imagination and you have my life (offered on the internet for any random person to read... once again, I'm not sure that this is the best idea in the world, but there you have it)! Note: The irritating "name adjustments" have decided to change my name from LadyArwen to LadyArwen3... which I find less than appealing, therefore, I further changed it to LadyArwen14. Not a drastic change, grant it, but 14 is Bilbo's lucky number and is a far better number than 3! So now I'm happy... well, happier... |
