![]() Author has written 2 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender. Hey guys! My name's Aurora and I'm pretty much your average daydreamer. I like to live in my own world just as many writers do. I am generally a happy person. An optimist. A few of my works may be dark and hopefully not too sinister, but fear not! I will warn you beforehand. I have ALWAYS loved Lewis Caroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. When I was younger (I am now in college) I thought of the world as Wonderland, and still do to an extent. I am currently venturing out into the vast world of spin-offs from Caroll's novel so PLEASE SUGGEST STUFF TO ME! :) I admire Caroll's work way too much to make much fan fiction of it, for now. I will, however, attempt to write a few short drabbles/one-shots/poems so bear with me :P Aside fro Alice, I have this special affinity for Avatar: The Last Airbender. I am in love with it for many reasons: Although it is, in fact a cartoon, it has some deep, literature-worthy, analytical characters and plot lines. Most of the main cast, being, Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Zuko, and Azula, have complex personalities. And, I'm not going to lie, the action scenes were pretty much animated to perfection. I am a sucker for era dramas (anything set in a past time... with the exception of the medieval era). Not to mention, the immediacy and danger of the show, how these kids, hiding, struggling to restore hope in peoples' hearts while trying to spearhead a revolution, knew that, in the end, they would have to fight for the freedom of their descendants. So, yes I am an Avatard. Expect Zutara. I am a die hard advocate of this ship for a long list of reasons, but I'll save the explanation for another time. If you want to talk to me about it, I'd love to start up a conversation with you! Just PM me! I also ship Sukka, but I respect other ships with Sokka, such as Yukka and Tokka. You'll find that I like to explore the feelings of those ships. I welcome any and all critique out there! I am a firm believer in learning from your harshest critics! So Review me or PM me! My eyes and ears are all yours, even if it is just to talk! |
