Metroid:
I've only played one of the old games, other m, and prime 3. So, I've not much to say aside from that they totally messed up Samus's personality in Other M. Otherwise, it was awesome.

Bordelands 2:
Every character is a badass. Enough said.

Fire Emblem:
Sacred stones is awesome for its promotion system. Radiant Dawn was a very good game, but the characters lacked depth and the support system was lackluster. I've also played Fire Emblem 7.

Favorite characters:

Nolan and Edward duo. They're invincible together.
Soothe is... ok, he's lacking in strength due to his class, but I just adore him.
There are lot of awesome, strong characters, but the ones mentioned above are the most memorable ones. Ah, I guess there's also Hector, Erk, Rebecca, Neimei, Lute, Amelia, Ike, Volke, Nephenee, Haar...
Favorite class: Marksman. Trueblade. Assassin.
