My writing muses periodically blossom and wither

but when they surface my spirits soar higher

to write with ink and quill is truly time tasked

my agile fingers click to my keyboard's plastic mass

characters old may have had their stories told

but I see a story in my mind, still yet to unfold

they may be out of character or gay as a kit

but this young fan girl will make it all fit

words are my fabric and adjectives my thread

with grammar as my needle, I will create a colour web

spin it all together and what do we read

Happy 2010! Many apologies for pretty much dropping off the face of the Earth. I got carried away with university and holidays. What can I say? Life is a handful. And I'm getting a little nit picky with my writing style and story progression. Please bear with me!

Name: ALTHE

Who am I?

Althe was born in 2002 from the mind of a pubescent girl filled with aspirations to be a writer. Well actually, the girl wanted to be a super hero superstar. Writing was just her second job and number one hobby. Unfortunately, that naive little girl died in the flames of maturity, but the name Althe lived on. Althe remained resilient through the years of self-loathe, identity loss, egocentric mania, and puppy love woes. Even in the Great Creative Depression of the 21st century, Althe continued to thrive. Reborn from the ashes of incompetence, a new hero has arised to take on the name Althe. With her keyboard as her weapon, the new Althe is determined to vanquish every inner demon with her selected words. She intends to rise above the masses of incomplete stories and finish the journey of storyhood.
