Clary Fray and Jace Herondale are as far from different as can be. However, one night their paths align when the two are set up on a blind date. Through a course of amusing and unsuspecting events, what begins as a mutual hatred for one another, soon blossoms into something rather extraordinary. Clary x Jace, All Human, Slightly OoC.

Jace and Clary have known each other for years but their relationship has always differed: for Jace, Clary was just the girl he grew up with and considers her a close friend. For Clary, Jace was the guy she always felt something for, but stayed as simply his friend. So she let the years pass quietly at his side, living off of the whispers of memories. AU/All human.

Clary grew up in the shadowhunter world. She lives in the institute with Jace Izzy and Alec. Growing up like siblings, Jace and Clary are caught off guard when they fall in love after their drinks get spiked at a club, leaving Izzy and Alec utterly confused.

It's Christmas at the New York institute and Clary and Jace are having their first Christmas together. It's just a normal Christmas until Jace does something unexpected and changes everything. Set: after COHF so may contain spoilers.

Jace is helping Clary once again with training, but when Jace says something that makes Clary distracted, well then Clary might just lose this training session, just for once. Clary/Jace one shot.
