After 11 years, I'm back. Somehow, it felt like returning here could be an important step for me. I was 16 when I wrote these stories and now I'm 27. Part of me is embarrassed to read such text-book teen angst in my stories, but I'm also proud of my younger self for writing something and putting it out there to be read and freely criticized. Besides, angst is a normal part of being a teen. So. . .this is what I'm doing. I'm re-writing my Dark Shadows story as a way to honor and heal my inner teenager. It will still be the same basic story with the same characters and it will still be just as dark, but hopefully it will have a more mature tone. As mature as a Pitch Black fan fic can be, at least. Plus, it should be a hell of a lot better written.

I'm five pages in. This is gonna be fun.
