![]() Author has written 5 stories for Misc. Anime/Manga, Naruto, One Piece, Harry Potter, and xxxHOLiC. Name: Sandrilenefatoren2 Gender: Female Age: 20s Relationship Status: Not interested, thankyouverymuch Fandoms: Many, many diverse types, though I usually focus on character-driven shounen manga. Strengths: Consistent characterization, consistent spelling, grammar, and flow quality to stories, consistent in-universe rules. Weaknesses: A tendency to be a bit too wordy or text-heavy, a habit of going off on tangents every now and then, and an absolutely, utterly ABYSMAL update schedule (which, by the time I start posting my next fic, will hopefully be fixed). Beta abilities/availabilities: I'm a pretty reliable beta, but I'm not currently looking for any more stories to help with, since the few that I've worked on for other people haven't been posted or they haven't sent me any more stuff to work on and I get tired of that kind of thing (hypocrisy, thy name is sandry-chan). Current Team-ups: Waterdog, a very imaginative (if relatively novice) fanfic author who is very good at motivating me to actually get shit done, meaning our one collaborative effort is actually GOING somewhere for once. News: Okay, sorry to my few fans who actually care about me updating anymore (because seriously, I am a sad, sad woman who has been putting off updating my profile for waaaaay too long). I am on authorial hiatus until I finish my project with Waterdog. Once we finish it, we will begin posting chapters at the rate of one per week until it's all up, though we don't know whether it will be on her page or mine. There are twenty-nine chapters finished so far... but the story will probably be over a hundred chapters long before we finish it, so don't expect anything for a bit. I won't try to excuse myself by saying I have a life and two jobs, since they're frankly small-time jobs and I have no life, making it a terrible excuse. Again, a thousand apologies to my few remaining fans. Status of my Fics... Gypsy Romance: Done! Wait, you mean I actually HAVE a completed fic? Holy shit. I know Gaga has more social aptitude than I'm giving him, and I know he's not so diffident around women normally, but I do have some reasons for his behavior. Firstly, he's in a human body now, so every thing feels just a little bit off to him. He's subconsciously nervous. Plus, being the fusser that he is, he's most likely worried about messing things up. As to his diffidence... well, I'll chalk that one up to a combination of hormones and the fact that he's besotted. And confusion, since I doubt he's ever received that much female attention all at once in his (excessively long) life. UPDATE: While I'm proud to have actually finished this story, it was my first attempt at seriously writing and, looking back, it wasn't very good at all. It was, in fact, extremely amateurish and obviously written by a sixteen-year-old with no romantic experience. I'm leaving it up because... well, it IS complete, and my first work, but I can't bear to actually read it anymore. Crossovers Galore: HIATUS. 25 chapters are completed. I lost my inspiration for it, and though I still love it, I'm stuck as to where things will go from here. I am sorry for the terrible stopping-point, but I was stupid enough to start two arcs without a serious plot even sketched out for either. I'll come back to CG later, when I'm inspired again. UPDATE: Still on hiatus, but if I do start working on CG again, it will involve a major overhaul and rewrite, as I'm unsatisfied with the quality of the writing in this story. Good idea, mediocre execution. Shell: Complete. I abandoned the idea of this series after realizing it was going in a weird direction, and that I couldn't bear to mess with the One Piece canon in any significant way (I love it too much), such as by introducing a new crew member. Smile: Complete. See above. Next fic coming up: A collaborative effort with Waterdog and, if all goes smoothly with that, possibly a few sequels or spinoffs or related projects. Things you should know about me... I LOVE REVIEWS! I don't care if you're criticizing my work, complimenting it, commenting on it, making suggestions, or even bashing it, I just like reviews, because they mean that my readers are actually thinking about my stories. I write odd romance stories. The 'odd' part about the romances I write is not any freaky stuff, but the fact that I write about someone who most people wouldn't think of. Usually a supporting character, or one who's there for comic relief. Someone who's absence would affect the story, but who most people consider to be a minor, unimportant character. Why do I write these? I don't really know. I think that I just have a soft spot for the people like them, who are under-appreciated by most of the 'audience'. Who are these characters? Naruto: Kiba. Shino. Kankuro. I found a pic of Shino without his shades, and he's actually kinda hot! Weird, huh? FMA: Lt. Jean Havoc. He NEVER gets the girl. I want Havoc to get the girl. Prince of Tennis: Kaidou Kaoru. He's so gruff and standoffish on the outside, but surprisingly innocent internally (Type A male Tsundere). And he's got a damn sexy voice. (ahem) One more thing about the romances I write. You'll notice that they're all for guys. I don't feel very confident about writing for girls, because I don't really know how to design a guy. Romances I hate: Anything gay/ lesbian. (I've got nothing against homosexuals or bisexuals, I just don't like reading about it.) Anything with someone whose romance is already in the series (I hate having them tampered with). Anything freaky-perverted or uber-kinky. Favorite type of Fic: Crossovers! Especially long-term crossovers or character-interest crossovers. Also, occasionally I will enjoy fics like "Randomness" that make almost no sense but are freaking hilarious. I also enjoy fanfictions that go into interesting ideas or show things from a different viewpoint. Another example of the type of thinking I enjoy can be found at narutofever.com. Read "Byakugan Theory" or "Sharingan Theory." Least favorite type of Fic: anything with romances like above. Anything with terrible grammar or spelling (about 3/4 of the fics out there, sadly). I got this list from Creedkeeper. It is awesome. If you are on fanfiction.net for some other reason than writing pure romance fics or totally rearranging the original story because some slash romance story didn't happen, copy this and paste it onto your profile. If you realize that this ain't a scene, it's an arms race, copy and paste this into your profile. 98 percent of the teenage population does or has tried smoking pot. If you don't believe this statistic, copy and paste this into your profile. If you don't watch Laguna Beach or the O.C. or The Hills religiously, never have, never will, and are proud of it, copy and paste this into your profile. If you know there's more to good random humor than saying "cheese", "fudge", or "pie", copy and paste this into your profile. Experts say that if Hollister and Abercrombie said it wasn't cool to breathe anymore, 92 percent of the teen population would die. Copy this onto your profile if you don't believe this statistic. Ninety-five percent of the kids out there are unconcerned by the dismal state of their education, or the fact that their fanfiction is killing the English language. If you're part of the five percent of fanfiction writers/readers who do care about such things, cut and paste this, and then leave those reviews for the poor souls who know not what they do. Ninety-five percent: If you have ever pushed on a door that said pull or vise versa copy this into your profile If you have ever said something that has nothing to do with the current conversation, copy and paste this into your profile If you have often said something that has nothing to do with the current conversation, to the point that people expect it of you, copy and paste this into your profile "My best friend is insane." If you agree or if you have an insane friend then copy this to your profile Recent studies show that 92 percent of teenagers have moved on to rap. If you're part of the 8 percent that hasn't, put this in your profile Weird is good, strange is bad, and odd is when you don't know what to call someone. Weird is the same as different, which is the same as unique, so weird is good! If you are weird and proud of it, copy this into your profile! If you are against racism, copy this onto your profile. The only race is humanity. If you've ever totally screwed something up so bad it isn't even funny, copy this onto your profile. Ninety-five percent of the kids out there are concerned with being popular and fitting in. If you're part of the five percent who aren't, copy this, put it in your profile If you know an anime character who should be real, then copy & paste into your profile. If you have weird friends, copy this into your profile. If YOU are weird, please copy this into your profile. If you think that being unique is cooler than being cool, copy this on your profile. If you and your friends have a nickname, title, or anything else for each other, copy and paste this in your profile. If you've ever wondered what you are like in another dimension, copy and paste this in your profile. 93 percent of American teens would have a severe emotional breakdown if someone called them a freak. If you're a part of the 7 percent who would ask the person, "What was your first clue?", copy this into your profile. I PROPOSE A CRAZY CROSSOVER!! This is an idea I came up with recently, but since I only know ONE of the series, I don't believe I'm capable of doing it justice, so I'm offering it up to anybody willing to try. APH: Axis Pirates Hetalia. A crossover/elsewhere fic/crack fic, with the main cast of Axis Power Hetalia is in the One Piece world, and are a crew of pirates known as the Axis Pirates. |
