At the suggestion of a fellow author, I am re-posting all the Light in the Dark fics here in one place. Summary: After the Battle of Manhattan, Thor never returns from Asgard, and a threatening Loki starts appearing to Jane. What does he want with her?

Psychologist Jane Foster can't imagine a stranger case than the one that's just been brought to her: an unknown man claiming to be the Norse God of Mischief, who seems to know more about her than he should. Unlocking the mysteries of his mind will throw Jane's entire world out of line, as she must question what is real, and what is just a dream.

Loki is supposed to be the portent for Ragnarok, too bad fate didn't ask for his opinion. Can a broken heart heal? Can the trickster learn to love? Post Thor:TDW He did almost die saving her life, so Jane takes Loki into her home, such that it is, when Odin banishes him from Asgard. What could possibly go wrong? Curiosity is Jane's middle name, and Loki is a well of knowledge. That is if he'll answer her endless questions with anything resembling honesty. Eventual Lokane with mild angst.

Jane despises any form of communication that includes a keyboard, a screen, or a battery. So why does she keep going back to the same chat room to talk to the same guy after a one-time dare from Darcy? All bets are off... because with a name like youweremadetoberuled, she's not sure what to expect.

After giving Thor up to Malekith, Loki claims to have done it in order to save them but after a betrayal from Malekith, both Loki and Jane find themselves in a tender situation as they fight to escape their predicament...and the fire that builds between them. LOKANE! (Rated M for further chapters)

After 3 years of unavailing research, Jane meets a strange, dark-haired MIT graduate, whose brilliant mind may be the key to a breakthrough. But no one could have guessed that she might be the key to his lost memories. Eventual Lokane.

Based off a conversation I had with a friend, and leaked plot details of Thor 2, about what we wished would happen between Loki and Jane. On their quest to save Asgard, Thor, Jane, Loki and their friends are ambushed and Loki is wounded. Jane finds a strange affinity with the tortured God, an affinity which might lead to far more than either expect.
