The roller coaster of life after retirement... A mostly happy look at domestic life for a healthy Sharon (sharp turn taken health-wise after St. Joseph's Three) and Andy. Sharon kept staring in the direction she last saw Andy, only a couple of minutes before, as he waved at her one last time before disappearing around the corner. She felt her heart twitch and the tears gathering in the corners of her eyes. She didn't know how long she would be able to hold them back, as they were now threatening to fall at any moment. Post 4x14 "Taking the Fall".

A/U, set during Hiatus #2 of Season 4 (starts in early January after Andy's blood clot)- An injury leaves Sharon feeling vulnerable and Andy questioning the future of their relationship. These characters are not my own.

Sharon discovers just how worried Andy is about her life-threatening illness, and together they come to a resolute decision.

When Mark Hickman turns up at another grisly scene, Sharon finds herself on the receiving end of an anger intervention.
