Of Lavender, Roses and Freesia

And, it isn't exactly 18th century, but it ties in with what I pictured the mansion looking like, a bit. I imagined a bit of a more homey, lighted look to it, but I couldn't find one like that and I don't have the proper software to make it myself, so this'll have to do.

I found the dress I wanted Bella and the other maids to wear as uniform today (04/27/10). I know it isn;t 18th century, but it's close to what I had in mind. I wanted a plainer, sort of messy kind of dress, a bit wrinkled, but I couldn't find really any styles like that, so this had to work as my fall back. Also, anything else I found looked more like a nightgown than a dress my characters wanted to wear in public. I know Bella's OCC in OLRF, but I really wanted to reflect the story line through her thoughts; I'm sorry if she sounds like a different character at the development of the story.

By the way, my story Enchanted is overgoing a rewrite with a more workable plot. The chapters will be retyped and replaced soon, so I can continue the story and still be interested in it myself. I am just getting over a writer's block, and I decided to change the plot to Enchanted completely. There are alot of things going on inside my head--ideas for stories, namely. I want to take a little shot at humor, so I will probably be thinking up a story based on that genre soon. It will most likely, 99.9 percent NOT be a one-shot, because I am not capable of telling a short story. Also, I am looking into more serious M rated stories set during New Moon . . . hehe. But they will probably be in the future, when I have things settled with Enchanted and OLRF. Carnations is being put on hold, because I'm still trying to get my head wrapped around that story and the era, which means no writing on that until I can focus my mind on it completely, which I can't do right now. Sorry if I disappointed anyone, I just can't work on it right now without making a mess. Forgive me? Review my other stories?
