The author whose profile you are reading now is Marielle Therese. Her pen name (Maylea) is of Hawaiian origin which means “wildflower”. She is not Hawaiian, she resides in the Philippines and has basically lived in Iloilo City all her life.

Maylea stands five feet and eight inches tall, and will be a junior in high school when June comes. She is 15; her birthday is on 4th January 1991. Her hair is layered black and she sees through her very brown eyes, since they are not black either.

She loves the colors blue, black, green, red, orange, and pink. Yes, pink. She loves eating fruits like mangoes, oranges, strawberries, kiwi, and melon. She loves drinking fruit juices and shakes.

She finds comfort in music. She likes alternative bands like Simple Plan, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, Story of the Year, Sugarcult, and Good Charlotte. But she’s not too picky, she loves music. She wants to form her own band someday, if only she would have sufficient band members who think the same way she does and who can blend with her personality. She can play a little bit of three instruments-- drums, the guitar, and keyboards--having taken music classes in her earlier years.

Marielle spends her leisure time reading, surfing the internet, playing sports, hanging out with her close friends and classmates, instant messaging/e-mailing/text messaging, listening to music, watching TV and DVD movies, and walking her dogSpeed (whom she dearly calls Speedy or The Speedster).
