Hi!

I'm chichi the windrider, and this is my ff.net account. Unfortunately, due to Real Life(tm) catching up with me, I have sadly called it quits for now. This means no updates until further notice.

This doesn't really mean I'm quitting forever, however. I honestly do like writing as a cathartic kind of thing--so sometime in the future, I promise to come back and finish what I started.

Works

I had originally planned to make Big Wide World of Hidden Moments a multi-chapter set of oneshots, but I'm realizing that that's kind of impossible right now. It is still, in my head, considered a SET of one-shots, so I WILL come back and finish it. Someday.

About Me

There isn't really much for me to say here. I'm a media kid that specializes in motiongraphics for a living, but I also love to do sound and staging stuff. Usually, I'm at work and when I'm not at work I'm freelancing. All in all it's definitely an interesting life, if not a bit unpredictable. IRL I am a big music fan. I love everything from indie stuff to trance to Jpop to big ol' blues. I have a general fondness for Canadian whisper-rock :)

For fandom interests, I've found that my tastes tend to bounce around a lot, depending on my mood. Therefore, I don't really stay loyal to a genre. My current favourites, however, are Gurren Lagann, K-ON, Ga-Rei Zero, Soro No Woto, and Beauty Pop. I also love the comic series Runaways, and the Scott Pilgrim series.

A Thought on my Earlier Works

...Please don't judge me on my earlier works.

There are currently three stores posted under my account. Only the most recent one, Big Wide World of Hidden Moments, in any way even conveys the level of writing I presently do. The other two don't.

I wrote the first two way back when I started highschool- and the quality shows. I grimace when I read them myself. However bad they were, though, the reason I keep them up is to remind me that- yes, I WAS that bad then, and oh awesome, I've improved since then. Once upon a time I started writing fanfiction in an effort to improve my writing and I guess the practice worked.

If anything, the old stuff is a neat reminder of how long I've been on ff.net (holy crap it's been nearly a decade WTF I'm getting old ARGH)

Anyway, the Tl;dr version is that I'm on hiatus for a long while, but enjoy my stuff (and feel free to read my old OLD stuff for shits and giggles).
