Rose is affected by the darkness a lot sooner. She finds an unusual way to cope with this, but can't use this when Dimitri brings them back to St. Vladimirs. How is she going to cope? And can Dimitri just watch her suffer? M-rated because of language, violence, blood and sexual content.

Set after Shadow Kiss where Dimitri never got turned. Dimitri left Rose after the Battle of St Vladimir's, but thankfully no one was taken into the caves. Then unimaginable happened, something that shouldn't have been possible. But here we are 12 years later and a new story of how I screwed up my life once again. Oh and I do not own any characters of VA.

After a bad day of training, Rose and Dimitri learn that their relationship is their own and can be whatever they make it. With this freeing realization, a new dimension of their relation begins involving trust, openness, and a sense of adventure and arousal that neither of them had felt since they a time neither had wanted to admit to themselves...or each other.

I returned to Baia on Lissa's orders, but I didn't expect to stay for so long. I guess I kind of settled into the rhythm of things here. I started to feel again, hell, I even got a new girlfriend. I should have guessed that Lissa would eventually send someone after me. But dear God, why did it have to be HER? RxD Rated M for a reason.
