Education: Finished my undergrad at Hofstra University in 2006. Now I live the American dream working 60 hour weeks to earn my living. Throw in an energetic (but adorable) dog and my recent fixer-upper home purchase and I am left with little time for writing and sleeping (unfortunately). Loves: Harry Potter(esp. HMS Pumpkin Pie), and High School Musical (esp. Zac Efron). I'm also currently re-exploring my love of Spot Conlon fics (Newsies). Fandoms I have loved, at one point or another: 'N Sync (does anyone else remember when they had bands/celebrities on this site?), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Harry Potter, Newsies, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Lord of the Rings, Joan of Arcadia, High School Musical, Hairspray, Howl's Moving Castle, Twilight, Pushing Daisies, Glee...that's all I can remember for now. Of note: I suck at finishing stories. Or more appropriately, posting stories. I write everything by hand and then type it, which, when you're talking about 75-100 pages is a lot of typing. I need to finish the last two chapters & epilogue of Fighting Dutch...hopefully soon. I HAVE finished Unexpected (hand-written) but I've yet to finish typing it. I'll continue with both until they're done! Regarding my reviews...I like to leave people honest feedback. I try to be as gentle as possible when delivering critical feedback, and please understand that I provide it with no malicious intent...only hope that it will help both of us become better writers. I'm making an effort to review almost every story I read, and honestly, some are better than others (myself included!) I hope that people will be just as honest when they review my works. :) |
