The gods must travel through the depths of Tartarus. Along the way, they meet Percy Jackson, a demigod armed with a celestial bronze sword and a sarcastic sense of humor. He has lived in Tartarus his whole life, and knows it like the back of his hand. Together, they work to defeat the enemy that is brewing in The Pit.
