It's early winter in the south of France. Athos and Porthos find themselves stuck in a swamp while trying to rescue their horses from bandits who may or may not be simple horse thieves. Aramis and d'Artagnan stand a valiant defense of their mired friends and all of them pay with various levels of injury and regret. -Complete.

Athos tries to deal with the repercussions of Anne's reappearance in his life, whilst his brothers try to convince him he is a good man, aka the Milady Arc.. The Inseparables are asked to go to Savoy on request of their King to pick up his sister, the Duchess, and escort her and her son back to Paris. The others are all worried about Aramis, as he hasn't been back to the city ever since the massacre of Savoy, but nevertheless he refuses to remain at home while his closest friends risk their lives. Not a sequel to my other fictions.

Aramis makes a mistake and it tears the brotherhood apart.

February in France was far more than simply uncomfortable, it was bitterly cold; unfortunately, the King's business didn't stop during the winter months. They had been riding for two days, searching for four men who had escaped the local Comte's custody and were now hiding somewhere in the French countryside.

April of 1625 had been one of the hardest months of Porthos' life. But in a strange way, it had probably been one of the best as well. Savoy-centric origin story, in which Aramis is grieving, Porthos is a saint, and Athos just kind of shows up, eventually.

"Oh mercy, mercy, I've been caught, lying with my darkest thought..." Trapped and buried beneath the earth Aramis and Athos are forced to face the darkness.

Aramis never meant to fall in love with one of best friends younger siblings least it be Athos's sister. When Athos's past catches up with him seeking revenge and putting his sister's life in extreme danger Aramis sees the chance to prove his worth with the help of the others.

When the king's delegation to a province is ambushed on the road it leads the musketeers on a quest to find the man who would attack a king, terrorise villages and murder their brothers.
